How can I apply?In order to start application process please send e-mail to SEE MSc contact person: see@polsl.pl. You will receive all information necessary to start spplication process and further assistance.

Do I need visa and how can I obtain it?If you are not citizen of European Union you will need visa to start study. In order to get it, after successful application, we will send you admission letter. Using it you should refer to Polish consulate or embassy in your country. The process can last usually a couple of weeks - so it is advised to start as soon as possible.

When study begins?In Poland study start in October and in Portugal you will start in Septrember.

Should I be phisically in Poland when the study begins?Usually yes, but in justified cases (e.g. delay in obtaining a visa) it is possible to arrive at SUT with a delay. However, it should not be longer than 2 or 3 weeks.

When and where should I send legalized documents?After you get email with conditional acceptance, you should start process of legalization of your BSc diploma and transctiopt of records. You should send to our office (see@polsl.pl) your legalized documents as soon as possible in order to prepare Acceptance Letter. Without this letter you wont be able to start visa process.

How transfer from Poland to Portugal will look like?Our office will help you with transfer. Before you finish your 2nd semester in Poland, responsible person from IST University will contact with you regarding your transfer, accomodation in Lisbon, visa process and documents required by University.

Where can I find accomodation in Poland and in Portugal?Silesian University of Technology has its own dormitories. The dorms may differ from one another in standard. The dorms are located within the University Campus, 10 minutes by walk from the faculties. Double rooms are the most common offer, number of single rooms are very limited. Students are accommodated to particular dormitory according to number of free places, available in each dormitory. All of our students can chose option of living in our Campus Dormitories: https://www.polsl.pl/rju4-aos/lista-akademikow/ If you are interested in accomodation in our Dormitories, please mention that fact to your advisor in order to reserve room. Finding an accommodation in Lisbon can be hard. We advise you to start looking for a place only when you are formally accepted to Técnico Lisboa. What are living costs in Poland and Portugal?POLAND: Living in Poland as a student is relatively affordable compared to other European Union countries. The cost of living for students can start from 1500 PLN (330 EUR) a month.
